More young people are winding up in nursing homes

About one in seven people now living in nursing home facilities in the U.S. is under 65. This challenges the patient with not only physical but mental issues for example the feeling of being isolated. "It's just a depressing place to live," Martin says. "I'm stuck here. You don't have no privacy at all. People die around you all the time. It starts to really get depressing because all you're seeing is negative, negative, negative."

Now days more people are getting surgeries that causes them to need extra help; therefore they get put into the nursing homes. I think it is a good idea so in case if there was any accidents they have help. Many families lose touch with there love ones because they might not have time to see them in the day to visit them in the nursing home, then the patient feels trapped.
